Les Eiconcard C Series sont des cartes X25 intelligentes d'interface WAN pour les stations de travail PCI. Ces cartes sont conçues pour les passerelles X.25 ou SDLC et pour les serveurs d'applications de très petites filiales d'entreprises. Les Eiconcard C Series offrent la connectivité au travers des ports V.24 et/ou RNIS, supportent des vitesses de ligne pouvant aller respectivement jusqu'à 64 Kbps et 128 Kbps.
Les Eiconcard C Series permettent aussi de se connecter via toute une variété de protocoles WAN tels que X.25, Frame Relay, PPP, SDLC et HDLC, sur des lignes spécialisées, des lignes commutées ou des lignes RNIS. Elles déchargent le serveur des tâches de bas niveau de protocole, ce qui permet d'économiser des ressources CPU.
Les Eiconcard C Series fonctionnent en association avec un logiciel Eicon et sont supportées par les outils de développement Eicon et des logiciels tierces.
Les Eiconcard C Series incluent une garantie de 5 ans.
Pour connecter des PCs ou de petits réseaux locaux aux réseaux X25 à une vitesse atteignant 64Kbps (par exemple connexion de PC distants à un système de réservations aériennes), l'Eiconcard C91 est parfaitement adaptée. Elle dispose d'un port RNIS indépendant et prend également en charge X.25 sur le canal D ou B RNIS (X.31).
